New little project. Doing a lot of different stuff at the moment. These are some the many ideas:
A skirmish group of daemonette conversions. Maybe they will even turn into some kind of an army.
Also, terrain is on my mind at the moment but more on that later...
Looking forward to this! Conversion are such an important part of this universe...and you are particularly good at it! :)
ReplyDeleteConversions are always fun. The tricky thing is to have faith in your gut-feeling and just dive in cutting and gluing. I have spend way too much time considering back and forth, and then - in the end - going for the initial idea...
DeleteI love what you do with terrain! Can't wait to see!
ReplyDeleteTerrain can be so forgiving since it is about setting the scene for the minis. So when you have some cool minis in the first place making some terrain for the minis makes the whole scene awsome. The terrain I am after at the moment is actually just som basic Citadel plastic woods and also finishing off som terrain built about 14 years ago!
DeleteInteresting use of parts, really looking forward to seeing this progress :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. Current status: two conversions finished, one of these primed white. The rest lack a few things.
DeleteI really love what you've done with these guys. They have a very blanchesque look to them and I can't wait to see some paint on them.
ReplyDeleteInterestingly, I came across my copy of the Golden Demon 2006 booklet today whilst cleaning and only now realised who's blog I've been following. Your a massive inspiration, that Inquisitor and your other GD entries were just phenomenal pieces. Sorry for fanboying, but I'm also slightly embarrassed with myself for not putting two and two together sooner. :P
Cheers. The GD 2006 booklet. Yeah, I suppose I still use that inquisitor's face for my profile picture. A model that I am still proud of today.
DeleteThe combination of claws and puff sleeves are particularly disturbing. And that flaming skull deamonette has an excellent pose. Striding forwards with a burning head and elegance!
ReplyDeleteYou of all people decide to put a Femme Militant head on a 28mm - and get away with it!
Thanks, FPOA.
ReplyDeleteRe. the Femme Militant head. I also managed replace a Femme Militant head with Bretonnia Banner top piece, remember? :-)
Actually, the one used here is the head replaced back then.
