The colour scheme is brilliant - blue eyes and searchlight together with the orange and bronze is an excellent choice.

I especially love the bronze and orange on his chestplate - wonderful!F P O Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02794613288553530077noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4903238381133768699.post-2643006002051581382015-02-02T21:40:04.020+01:002015-02-02T21:40:04.020+01:00Thanks. This is also the reason for carefully pinning the gate for the Garden of Morr so that I can do small scenes with the gate open or closed as it fits the scene at hand.

The book has been and gone for now. Sorry. However, it was a fun venture and I currently have a few similar plans in my head. Need to do some decisions on that soon. Thanks for the reminder! :-)JRNhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09741774098659351155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4903238381133768699.post-40109661109078597602015-02-02T21:36:09.780+01:002015-02-02T21:36:09.780+01:00Glad you liked the interview. Yeah, I want them to be a kind of noble infantry or command unit. I really like the idea of worlds with feudal/knightly orders and style. While I adore your painting it's the scenes that you set up that I enjoy the most, I love how in this photo you have the original trooper behind at the back. Quick question, I loved your little bound book you did last year, have you any left? And any chance there'll be a book 2 soon?lonelybrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14613393618949627923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4903238381133768699.post-74627896750621308312015-02-02T17:41:12.881+01:002015-02-02T17:41:12.881+01:00The Stormtroopers are both great. I liked your point about focusing less on ultra-smooth blending, and more on experimentation and ideas. I find your recent work much more inspiring than a lot of stuff on CMON. It might be less technically refined, it's so expressive and conceptually interesting. They no longer look like storm troopers to me, but some noble infantry from a Knight World to accompany your Knight. Very nice!migsulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08196568381786396556noreply@blogger.com
